Female Peer Counselor - Volunteer Position
Four openings for women with a desire to minister to female clients by listening, caring, and offering needed services and materials. Shifts available: Monday and Thursday from 1:30-5:30, Wednesday from 10:30-2:30, and Thursday from 4:30-7:30. Peer counselors must complete "Equipped to Serve" training and on the job training.
Female Receptionist - Volunteer Position
Six openings for women with a desire to minister to female clients by answer phones, greeting clients, and helping with donations and mailings. Receptionists must complete "Equipped to Serve" training and on the job training.
Female Helpline Counselor - Volunteer Position
Helpline Counselors are the first point of contact for many clients. AVPC's phone is forwarded to Helpline Counselor's home when the AVPC office is closed. Shifts include before and after office hours Monday through Thursday (8-11 a.m. and 5-8 p.m.), and morning, afternoon, and evenings on Friday. Helpline Counselors must complete "Equipped to Serve" training and on the job training.
Men's Ministry Counselor - Volunteer Position
We have openings for eight men with a vision for serving the men in our clients' lives. Current we have no men who are available during our office hours: Monday-Thursday, 11-5. Men's Ministry Counselors must complete "Equipped to Serve" training and on the job training.
Abstinence Education Presenter - Volunteer Position
Seeking motivated individuals with a desire to be part of a W.A.I.T. Training Team making presentations to youth in Southeastern Colorado. Training provided.
Prayer Coordinator - Volunteer Position
We urgently need an organized individual with communication skills to coordinate our prayer ministry. Prayer has been the foundation of the AVPC ministry. Prayer Coordinator would inform individuals and churches of AVPC prayer needs.
